This project centers around an affordable shipping service from the U.S. to Afghanistan to help the Afghani people start small businesses. Our goal is to help Afghani households at the micro level. Global Concepts Shipping, which is a social business model, is working with  Marco Polo Export to setup this project in Long Beach, CA.

 

We are looking for a NGO or NPO which can provide micro credit loans for purchasing cost of the commodity to the potential client in Afghanistan.

Air

Shipments may be arranged for pick up or may be delivered to our nearest terminal for air shipment to Afghanistan or a nearby international airport.

Cost varies by weight and volume.

 

A container may be delivered to you for convenient loading and then taken to the nearest rail or port. Loading facilities are also available where you may bring your goods for shipment to Afghanistan.

Standard containers measure 20 or 40 foot in length.

Cost is determined by container size.

 

 

Autos We can either load your auto(s) into the container or have it shipped as RO/RO (roll on, roll off) un-containerized to Afghanistan. Cost is dependent on size and quantity.

 

Over Size Shipments

We can assist to move oversized cargo (dimensional and weight) such as heavy machinery, buses, tractor trailers, dump trucks, and agricultural & industrial equipment to be shipped to Afghanistan.
